Once upon a time… a family imagined a world where all children had their own books. Every year on their birthday, the children were given the gift of a new book. This gifting of books lead to those children growing up with excitement to read and to be read to.
My Birthday Books Inc. is excited to announce that we received a grant through Dutchess County’s Learn, Play, Create Initiative. We will now be hosting Pop-Up Birthday Parties at town parks throughout the county.
These parties will be held on a monthly basis, open to children celebrating their 1st-5th birthday.
We are thrilled to build on our mission of providing children and their families with age appropriate books and to help them further develop their interest in, and love of literacy through the gifting of books.
The Pop-Up Parties, partially funded by Dutchess County, will include book related activities, a take home treat and of course… a new book for the birthday child!
